Modifying and Transforming Datasets

Dragonfly provides a number of tools for modifying datasets, which include image stacks, regions of interest, and multi-ROIs. You can crop, sample, and invert datasets, as well as resample geometries and apply transformations. These operations are available from the items in the Modify and Transform submenu.

Following are the primary tasks that you can perform:

Crop… Lets you crop datasets to remove unwanted parts or to help simplify segmentation tasks (see Cropping Datasets).

Sample… You can modify sizing in the Dataset Sampler panel (see Sampling Datasets).

Resample Geometry… Lets you copy the intersected values of the selected object(s) into the geometry, or shape, of another object to create a new dataset (see Resampling Geometries).

Invert… You can invert data in any axis, as well as change the order of axes when they are read, in the Invert Dataset panel (see Inverting Datasets).
